Why I Needed to Know - A Panel Discussion About Late Life and Self Diagnosis

Primary Audience: Humans & Permanency Caregivers, Living Experts, and Service Providers

Lived Experts, Service Providers, and Caregivers discuss the journey and impact of later-in-life and self-diagnoses. Understanding the ‘why,’ ‘what,’ and ‘how’ of adjusting to a new diagnosis can make a huge positive difference in a person's life, even if there are some uncomfortable adjustments and push back. Being neuro-diverse, whether due to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Autism, or other brain-based conditions can bring challenges that are easier to manage when understood; and leveraged for success and personal satisfaction when one embraces the diversity with grace. This webinar will leave you feeling inspired, hopeful and much better prepared to support yourself and those you care for who are a bit neuro-spicy.
