Primary Audience: Service Providers

The Seven Core Issues bring to light the lifelong, intergenerational impact on people who experience adoption or some form of permanency relationships.  Those who may have "aged out" without permanency, as well as caregivers / Humans can be similarly impacted. For service providers working with young people and families, awareness of these core concepts, particularly from the perspective of people with direct living experience, is crucial to deeper understanding and more effective helping relationships. Our session will feature two professionals who will share their expertise from their many years of working in the field, as well as their own personal reflections as Lived Experts of permanency.
