Winter days are upon us. These times can be quite triggering for us for a multitude of reasons. Here are some tips to get through the winter days:

  • Whatever you’re feeling; sadness, anger, emptiness, or confusion, is completely valid. There’s no “correct” way to experience this winter.

  • Do something that brings you a bit of peace: light a candle, write out your thoughts.

  • Listen to calming music, or spend time outside.

  • Give yourself permission to step away from social media if seeing certain posts feels painful.

  • Rest, eat something that soothes you, or simply take it easy. You don’t need to do anything more than what feels manageable.

You are worthy, you are enough and you are valuable.
